Lucky drove me back to trail and I hiked on. The San Juan Mountains are amazingly beautiful. Had to stop often to admire the views. Got hit with sleet and couldn’t find a suitable flat spot so I hiked until very late. Wet and cold. No trees for shelter so I hope it doesn’t get all rainy. DAMN, it’s cold.
